Mokume Gane – Polymer clay tutorial

I was asked by a lady in an online group to which I belong, if I would share the technique for my Mokume Gane work which has a thin black outline to define the patterns. I’ve added it below with some more examples in case it’s of use to others, Jane x

  1. Your instructions are THE BEST I have found! They are crystsl clear and you have thought of EVERYTHING needed to be successful at creating gorgeous MG patterns! Thank you so much!

  2. I very much appreciate your mokume gane advice and thank you so so much. It’s been so helpful in my learning and the above regards the black layer invaluable, which I don’t think I’d have figured out alone.

Wishing you well in your recovery from your hip replacement! I know from illness how much of a challenge pain and everything can cause and hope you have a speedy recovery.

It’s inspiring and so giving that you, that the polymer clay community as a whole, have been so generous with advice and support this last year. I had to ill-health retire early, unexpectedly, which was devastating after being a nurse for 30 years and this community have helped me more than they could imagine & brought light back into my life again. So thank you with all my heart. Keep on claying!

    Take care, kirsty 💙
